PATRON IN CHIEF MESSAGE

With Grace of Almighty ALLAH Indus Medical College now steadily progressing in its march towards the ultimate goals it was set out to achieve, strictly following the Rules & Regulations of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council and with help of the hard working Faculty Members & the student have a real state of art academic facility available in Campus. At Indus Medical College we shall continue with tradition we started in developing excellent Physicians who shall be ready for practice of Medicine the Education System embarks upon scientific and Clinical Foundation, advanced professional developed skills and knowledge. This element will educate students with Health Care and Medicine at system level taking to path of excellence.

Furthermore, University of Sindh's initial support at time of inception had gone long way in establishment of Indus Medical College. We indeed are greatly indebted to this oldest and prestigious University and shall always look forward for its guidance and support in future. Changes in Rules at level of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council to get affiliation with a Medical University was a "kind of home coming" for me, for having my humble contribution as last Principal of erstwhile Liaquat Medical College and Founder Vice Chancellor of Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences first ever Public Sector Medical University.

The due process of affiliation with Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences was achieved after proper Inspection of Indus Medical College its departments by Senior Professors of University and its subsequent approval from Statuary Bodies of University.

The Faculty of Indus Medical College and myself would like to thank Honorable Vice Chancellor and Administration of Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences, for their guidance & support, and we look forward to work together for times to come, for promotion of Education & Research. With the completion of 500 Bed Tertiary Care Teaching Hospital Project soon, this modern facility shall not only provide the Quality Teaching and Training for Under Graduates & Post Graduates but shall be an excellent addition in Health delivery System and Clinical Research.

As the Institution has already been identified to conduct Research Survey on Gestational Diabetes Mellitus by World Diabetes Foundation. In the end acknowledgements are always due for that committed group of Professional Associates (Pvt.) Ltd., members for trust &determination to provide Quality Education & Health Care. Indeed your contribution has made a visible change.

For the present and prospective students the message always shall be clear and simple be prepared to work in competitive and demanding environments. We strongly believe in imparting high quality and well researched knowledge of core subjects. Our programs also envisage excellent Clinical and Communication Skills that would augment the students’ academic understanding for comprehensive Medical Education System and are always ready to accept the challenges in life.
